Hey everyone,

I used to have 10 Red Clawed Shrimp that controlled the bottom of my tank. THey were mean, so I removed them and there being sold today (Stocking in signature still has one, because I cant catch him, so unless I find a way by the time I go to the store, he will have to stay.) Anyways, I want to use my store credit on something to replace the shrimp on the bottom. They must go well in my 29 gallon tank, with the stocking listed in my signature. They also must do well with my bristlnoses. Im thinking corys, but I dont know enough about them to know which kind to get or how many. Im also open to other catfish.

Just as a sidenote, I expect to get a few comments on my stocking about numbers, both cardinal tetras and rasboras are very old and all there friends have past on, and for the time being, I dont plan on replenishing there numbers. Other stocking comments are welcome.

Thanks everyone!

bronze cory's as they are very very hardy.
as for groups 6+

personally ive experienced no different levels of success with any type of cory, other than peppered that i've had no luck with. so if you can have them id just go for whichever ones take your fancy. there are lots of great looking cories, ranging from 2 quid each to 15 quid each at least. my personal favourites are 3 line cory's and sterbai cory's. maybe a synodontis catfish ? some get quite large but others will stay relatively small, and they dont need to be in groups.
