Hey guys I’m needing some help with my 46l tank, I have baby endler guppies in here at the moment which will be going to my larger tank in a few days, females/male separate,
Giving away the females as don’t want anymore breeding.

unsure what fish I could keep within the tank as I’ve heard I can only have a betta which is completely fine but even neons I can’t have in this tank? What other fish could be a good happy life for a 46l tank

please and thank you

Thats about 12 us gallons, I think? Depending on water parameters (gh, ph, etc) and dimensions (l x w x h) a group of ember tetras, maybe with pygmy corydoras. Or if harder water you could get some platy fish and some cool snails. If you have liquid rock hard water, or get something like Seachem Rift Lake salts, you could do shell dwelling cichlids.

What is your water GH?
If you have soft water, there are plenty of smaller species of fish.
You can also consider some yellow, red and blue shrimps.

Don't get Betta as it will reduce your choices.

What are the dimensions of the tank? If it is long and not very tall, some of the smaller tetras (soft water) or endlers (hard water) would be options. If it is more of a cube shape, that does limit things as fish need length for swimming.
