Fish Fanatic
guys,
im still new so dont laugh to loudly at the title!!!
I unfortunately lost a RNT last night (i presume last night) i found him this morning in the arms of one of my amano shrimp who it appeared was eating him
the amano have plant and veg matter to eat as well as algae and bottom pellets that they sometime steal of the cories.
I am sure my feeding isn't light and in fact may be too much as i have an outbreak of snails!!! (btw what meds can i use with my tank mates to eradicate these snails? - list at bottom)
will the amano have simply scavenged the RNT body or is it likely he grabbed it in the dark and ate him?
Tank set up
25g freshwater with trickle hood filtration and lighting
2 x red dalmation molly's
2 x honey gouramis
6 x guppies (2 male)
6 x halequin tetra
7 x RNT
4 x spotted corydoras
3 x amano shrimp
