Strange quesiton, I know . . .
Does anyone happen to know what the color of fish poo indicates? :X

For example, my platty had fungus covering both his eyes. During this sickness, I noticed his poop was red and unusually thick. It doesn't detach and seems to bother him. The fungus is gone, but the weird waste remains.

I haven't seen "normal" poop before, I guess it usually detaches before I notice it.

Any ideas?

heh heh heh...dookie

:kira:

Yeah, actually I think it does indicate problems, I just read a thread (heh heh that rhymed) a couple of days ago that said white "poo" indicates internal parasites/bacteria infection

It will also be the same color as his food, for example..red flakes/pellets = red "dookie"
