Hi guys,

Could you please give my stocking a quick compatibility check..
Not that I am having any problems at present, just want to be sure about all current and future stocking. I always try and check it against the chart, but there is always exceptions and recommendations.

Currently stocking:
4x Yellowtail damsels
5x Blue/Green Chromis
2x Perc Clowns
1x Yellow tang
1x Wrasse
1x Red spotted blenny

1x Black (v.sharp spikey) sea urchin (dont know the proper name thru)
1x Sea Hare
1x Blue Knuckle Hermit
1x Peppermint shrimp

1x Chocolate chip starfish (planning on removing him since finding out not reefsafe)

Soon to add:
1x Flame Angel
1x Royal Gamma
1x Yellow watchman goby
Alot more hermits (stanard blue and red legged critters)

Future stocking ideas:
1/2x Poormans moorish idol
2x Bangaii Cardinal (I've always really wanted a couple of these)
1x Pearly jawfish (would this get haressed by the goby and blenny?)
2x Dartfish/Firefish Red n Purple

sorry for the double post (check the time), browser crashed when posting.

How big is this tank? I know you've got a bigun, but how big?

260 at present. Planning on upgrading to a 450 soon.

What kind of wrasse where you planning on adding? The jawfish would harass the others if its big enough. It would probably leave the blenny alone. Do the damsels fight?(the yellowtails) If you dont have much green hair algae then that sea hare is probably gonna die. I would watch the Royal Gramma with the blenny jawfish and goby. You could have more than one tang in a tank that size. I wouldn't go over two or three. And there are a lot more tangs than just yellow tangs.

Agreed, sounds fine for a 120g. A couple tangs would prolly be nice in there too

The wrasse is already a resisdent of my tank (has been for 6months+) its a Labroides dimidatus

TBH the yellow tail damsels are pretty timid, they just occasionally fight among themselves (althu this is v.rarely seen, and last no longer then 10 seconds).

I know there are more tangs then just the yellow ones, but tangs in general scare me. Too many stories about white spot, althru that might be confined to mainly just the regal ones.
