I've seen some cichlids I fancy buying on the fish club list and I was wondering if anyone has bought anything from here before? If you have, what is the quality like and how long does it take for delivery etc? Don't fancy ordering them and then having to wait weeks/months for the fish to arrive. Cheers

Well m8, no point asking anyone, we've now delivered anything b4

I know it's a bit vague but I'm waiting on the new site till I sort things out.

One thing is, you will have to wait. We need large orders so it's not really for the hobbyist that wants a few fish now. Thats why it's so cheep ;)

The quality is good. I've used them before :)

Cheers Davy. Looks like I will have to continue my search for fish on foot.

Main site, I believe.

Although, I don't see a link to it.
Still to come or am I blind?

one of the reasons the fish hut fund was started was Davy needs a quarantine area to keep the fish before he sends tham out. no point in recieving a delivery from him if he's just re addressed the box. you'd get bad /dead fish at the worst or a preadator when you ordered a guppie.
Kepping the fish for a week before they get sent out means you get good quality for your money and the get a chance to recover after their trip. etc.
If you think on it it makes sense and we make sure you're not dissapointed with your purchase. Thus we get more orders.
Before anyone says what about my fish hut why couldn't you use that. well it aint big enough for needs ( small lab, tanks, bar, stage for the dancing girls and so on). lol I do have the tanks and the beer though.

Many-spotted Synodintis 7-8cm 1 £62.42

now i guess thats a mis print! :fun:

Nope you need to buy a quantity of them to make up the order. if you work it out they're a lot cheaper individual;y than the lfs. get a few mates together or ask the lfs if they want any. that way you get yer fish and should make a few quid on top.

Many-spotted Synodintis 3-4cm 9 £12.81
Many-spotted Synodintis 7-8cm 1 £62.42

so those are rite prices! my math is bad but a 7-8 cm fish works out £25 maybe. or am i tried lol
ur have to excuse me if i missed something

I'll go have a check l8r. it's almost time for my bed or so I've been told.

i wouldn't mind something like that here in the states. no i just get petco and petsmart for my fish needs.

Anyone got any idea how I can save money on my new cichlids? I'm interested in shell dwellers, but not the price (£10-25 each).

Cryosi, This is where the error usually comes in. All prices are are usually low and ading a bit onto it pays for our costs of going to get them, keeping them and hopefully delivering them.
You've pointed out this fish. Which is a single qty. Then when the extra is added on it comes away with a silly price. It would be at least £20 cheeper no that it's identifyed.

Sorry the lists are that big some slip through

Rose, I'd hate to have only those options. Although, I guess I don't have it that good. At least you have a good place to get dry goods.
