Fish Are Hiding After Installing Air Pump

Hi All,

Just having a very strange problem, 2 days ago i installed Interpet AirVolution AV1 air pump with 6 inch long air stone. Aquarium size is 110 litre, setup from last 8 months. Since i have put the air pump ON fishes are hiding in the cornors and under the decoration stuff. When i switch it off then they all come out slowly slowly.

Any idea what is the reason for all this, just to add i have also added 2 fresh plants and 1 moss ball. Fishes are mostly hidng near the new plant. Is the size of the air stone is ok? as the pressure of the pump is very strong.

Please advise.

You answered your own question. They don't like the bubbles. A bubble stone is not absolutely necessary so I'd leave it out or, if you want it for effect, replace with a tiny one and put it in a corner.
