I got a newt thats in my tank and i was told to feed it worms ( which i bought at the store). The person told me to put the newt in like a seperate area like a bowl and put the worms in tehre and then it'll eat it (Since usually the fish will get it first), the newt didnt eat any of them even if they were right infront of its face. Now the fish, i have guppies and neons and a couple types of sharks that are all over the tank. I put a good amount of food in for them and the guppies always seem to eat it up before it can sink, how do i make the food sink to the bottom so the sharks can have it instead of it floating?

IMO, newts are better suited in there own tank but anyhow

what kind of worms are you feeding the newt, and what kind of food do you want to sink?

Some type of lil worms, they were really cheap and alot came in the bag, not sure what kind thou :( and i just want to sink gold fish flakes for most of my fish. Another quesitons i have is i just realized that my neon tetras are lookin kinda funny, like the neon isnt being neon as much or like they're not as vibrant, is that a sign of something that they're stressed?
