Fish Accident

i had small accident earlier, i was changing my water and my black moor has lost an eye, he swam by my hose and the pull sucked it out, im so gutted. will he be ok? i removed him incase it infected the other fish.

The fish should be ok but monitor it over the next week for fungal or bacterial infections. Fungus will show up as white and fluffy. Bacterial will show up as a red inflammation around the wound.
The fish should be fine once it heals but will probably swim along the side of the tank rather than out in the open. This is the fish trying to feel safe and secure by using its pectoral (side) fins to keep in contact with the glass so its other eye can watch out for predators. Keep it isolated for a week or so until the area heals then put it back in the main tank.

In future use a gravel cleaner so you can't suck the fish up.
