First time platy owner

I am new to the group! I have had a fishtank for about 7 months now. It's mainly a tank for my 4 year old. This is my first time with platy fish and the person at the store told me they are livebearers. Does this platy look like she could be pregnant? Or is she sick?

Welcome! The swellings looks to be in an odd place for pregnancy but very well could be pregnant if she has been with a male any time in the last year

She was with some males at the pet store and also with one for a couple weeks in my tank but he died a couple weeks after I brought them home.

Do you think she look sick? She just seems to have such a large stomach compared to the other female platy I have.
