yay, we've finally got out tanganyika tank set up, shipped off the previous fish back to our trusty LFS this morning and swapped them for 20 quid worth of stones and slate etc, came back and got it aquascaped with loads of plants and slate caves etc so they've plenty of places to hide. Went up to maidenhead aquatics and got ourselves 6 daffy's, they're still juvi's so a bit tricky to sex, we've got 2 definate females and 3 definate males and 1 that could go either way, but they had mostly males so was hard to get a dead on 50/50 split, they're happy for us to bring back 2 males if it turns out we've odd numbers. They're all looking dead happy, playing in the caves and just exploring :)

dead chuffed, will take some pics tonight and post them later.

now all I need to do is learn to say and spell tanganyika

the tanks going to look ace when the plants take and start spreading

will do, camera batteries are charging now, will try n get some uploaded tonight or tomorrow :D it looks lovely, specially as it's stacked with another tank above it which is an agressive community tank, really nice contrast between the colours and that :)

off the top of my heas 6 corydorus julii,

2 opaline goramis,

2 dwarf sky blue goramis

2 rams,

5 dwarf cocatoo, chiclids

and a raphiael catfish,

s not really that aggressive but its harder than the danio`s and mollys in her other comunity tank
it

I had a couple of rams before... good fish .. what size are yours? The Dwarf cocatoo .. never heard of that

the cockatoo's get to 2 inches, they're only about 1 at the moment now though, still juvi's

yeah I started calling it my aggressive community tank as that's what I was going to do, then I kept seeing other things I liked and now it's nearly fully stocked it's not really that agressive, ah well it distinguishes it from the other community tank

here's some pics of the tank above it http://s67.photobucket.com/albums/h285/mis...&slideshow=true

and here's the first few pics of the tang tank, took loads but the usb port on my laptop is knackered and it spazzed uploading them and I lost most, will get some more soon but here's a few
