First Planted Tank.... Few Tips & Pointers

Hi Guys,

I am going to set up a Juwel Vision 180 pretty soon, I want a nice community planted tank. I was wondering if anyone could give me a few pointers...

I just want to know what is the best substrate to use, the best lighting and which plants would be best for me to start off with?... I have seen bottles of quick grow in my LFS but are these any good or do they actually work?.
