Relatively new to fish but really enjoying it. I love playing about with my camera and therefore I want to take progress pics of my fish and tank because both are young. Here's some of my first shots, admittedly its harder than I thought it would be so feel free to give me some tips.

Here's a bad pic of my full tank. Thanks for the comments by the way they are appreciated. A couple of the pics are certainly flash happy so thats something I'll need to play about with.

very nice
I would watch the bush fish when it gets bigger, it will be more than capable than munching a couple of your fish! Just hope its a friendly chap!
Nice tank though, like the white rocks on the black gravel. Stands out.

Keep reading conflicting information about the Bush Fish, some people say they grow really quickly and others say they take a long time to grow. Any idea's?

well, mine is about 6 inch, fairly friendly, only ever had a problem with that and the geophagus brasilienses cichlid, which is now in a new home but was a similar size at about 6 inch. it eats frozen fish that are about 3 inch and quite beefy! in my opinion it would be capable of eating and swallowing whole surprisingly big fish. it doesnt bother anything at the moment, its smallest tank mate being a nandus nandus leaf fish at about 3 inch. i'd just make sure you keep it well fed, mine seems to like meaty food like the lance fish, should be ok at the size yours is, im guessing its small as they only have the white outline on their fins at a small size. the loach,s should be ok as they will grow at a similar pace to the bush fish unsure about the honey gouramis, just keep an eye on them as the bush fish gets bigger and also unsure about the platy is it?
they don't grow at too fast of a pace, its not gonna jump from 2 ince to 6 inch in a couple of months!
after all they are a predatory fish by nature, actually ambush predators! i do hope all goes well though because they really are beautiful fish and very interesting to watch, let it get used to your hands and like mine it may become 'hand tame' and come take food from your fingers!
hope this is some sort of help!
