Just got back from a small holiday and water parameters are now perfect, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite and trace nitrate. Good work from the LR.

So ordered most of my CUC and it arrived this morning, at 7am  (no chance to sleep off the jet lag then....)

Spent a couple of hours acclimatising them and now they are in. My first marine livestock (apart from free stuff that came with the LR :good: )

I am now the proud owner of:-

10 Nassarius vibex Snails
10 small mexican Cerith Baja Snails
5 Trochus Snails
1 Dwarf Brittle Starfish
2 Skunk cleaner shrimps
2 True peppermint shrimps

When lights go on later, I'll try to get some pics.

Next Saturday, the rest turn up.

8 scarlet reef hermits
1 mexican turbo snail
2 porcelain crabs

How long should I wait to put the first fish in?
I've seen a perfect pair of tank bred perc's at the LFS. I assume if the water params stay good, I could add tomorrow?

Cheers

wow that's a great looking cleanup crew - well put together :) not so keen on the brittle star myself that's just a visual thing for me, but I've seen hermits chewing on the legs of them too... :(

if you do go with the clowns tommorow make sure you keep a really close eye on the parms and have some water mixed up / bought ready to do changes as needed. depends on the size of your tank and the ammount of the LR I guess.

you made a great choice (in fact probably the best) for your first 2 fish :D
