Bought this little chap yesterday and put him in the tank. All seems to be fine until i noticed the following morning that he was leaning over to one side. Now i have read that they can sulk when moved or when they are molting.

Water levels are all good and the green polyps are doing just brilliant !!!!!

Any ideas what i should be doing next ?

Ummm... Sure about the water params? Cause that Xenia in the background of that photo also looks mighty unhappy... Usually this is caused by salinity way out of whack, alkalinity way out of whack, nipping by some fish/invert/predator, or toxin

Is your tank a torture institute for corals because they all look REALLY unhealthy to me. What are the water parameters like in your tank and also are they near a pump (the black duberry just behind and above the xenia?? What is the rest of the tank looking like; are the other corals fish and critters thriving?

Regards

It was a comment made in jest NOT meant to be malicious, hence the following questions to see if we could remedy the situation. It was silly of me to write that for I should have known that if you are not being cathartic 100% of the time and try to introduce a little 'ribbing' amongst fellow fish keepers then people will be 'jumping down your throat' for want of a better expression.

Many apologies to Chris, I hope no offence was taken

Regards

Whatever. If you say so.You can put your toys back in your pram now(only ribbing!!).
Tha fact remains that when someone is worried about their expensive corals, replying with "Is your tank a torture institute for corals" really isn't needed and certainly doesn't come over as a joke. I didn't jump down your throat,I just pointed out that it wasn't helpful(with a dissapointed shake of the head) and certainly isn't in the spirit of these forums.
