First Gravel Cleaner

Can anyone suggest a type or make of gravel cleaner for a beginner?

It's for a 24x12x12 community tank.

Also a bit of advice on when to use it and any other advice would be much appreciated.

To me they are all about the same. Just make sure it is not made of the thin cheap easy broken plastic. Also resist the urge to buy the biggest you can find. A smaller sized one will siphon slower, and get around decor easier. Use it to siphon water when you do your scheduled water changes. Clean the front half one time, then the back half the next.

Tetra make a really good gravel cleaner. It's called Tetra-Tec, it biright yellow!!!! It's great for beginners though...Try Aquatics online
