First Flare!

I put a mirror against my veiltails tank today and he flared, it was so exciting!

Same here a few days ago. I don't know if it's -because- I encouraged him to flare, or if he's just getting settled in, but he flares more often without the mirror now! He never flared until I showed him the mirror, but now he flares often - he flares at his food, he flares at my fingers, and he flares at me! And sometimes he just seems to flare for fun. So expect a lot more flaring going on! They are so cute when they do it, aren't they?

I love it when mine flare I sometimes put them all next to each other for a few minutes so they can have a good old flare. except my new baby who isnt brave enough yet to even do a bubble nest.

It's healthy for them to flare, just not to often. It's like exersize for them.

I used to think George was flaring... then, I read this, and although all i had was a little compact mirror, i decided to try it... lmao. I now realize his previous flares were half hearted at best XD
