Held water on the first try, I'LL BE DAMNED!!  I set down dowels under the bottom piece to elevate it up so the pressure wouldn't be on the long flat surface, instead on the sides which is much better I feel.   I am going to add a brace on the top somewhere probably, the glass is very thin and although it is only 2gallons, it does worry me.

How is the best way to go about getting all the excess silicon off the tank, razor blade, is there anything easier seems to be quite tough!

Does anyone have a suggestion on an internal filter small enough to run inside the tank?  Also best substrate for ramshorn or apple snails?

Nice.

Details? How big? What did it cost?

Oh my goodness i'm sorry,   it is 2.5gallons(~9.5L), 16" x 6" x 6" (roughly 40cm x 15cm x 15cm).  I was able to make it with about $6.00 worth of glass, plus maybe 1/8 bottle of silicon which was $5.  Cutting glass is quite a precise art I hope to get better at it one day as my skills are rough to say the least.

I'll bite. show me more of the thing the monitor is on. lol.
