First Cichlid

Im thinking about getting a cichlid. What species should I get? I have had fish before this.But I dont want to use a tank bigger than a ten gallon.

You could keep a pair of German Rams in a 10 gallon, but you would have to make sure that they are 1 male and 1 female. Males will fight each other, and females will fight each other as well. They are hard to sex though so try to be sure on what sexes you are getting.
