First Batch Of Dalmation Molly Fry

I have just been away for the weekend and have come home to find I have lots of new babies! We had our first batch of baby guppies a couple of weeks ago so there I was checking the breeding net, all doing very nicely - when suddenly I thought I saw one outside of the net. How could that be? I looked again and lo and behold it was a dalmation molly fry in the floating plants not a guppy! Then I saw lots of them and my breeding net soon became a hive of activity with lots of babies busying about happily. We are so proud - there are too many to count. Some are predominantly black and others are silver. So we are proud parents again!

well done to you too! Its a shock when you aren't expecting to see them! This is the 2nd time I have missed the birth. Makes you feel good though.

I've never seen any of mine give birth. They always have them at the most inconvient time possible. I've put one in a breeding tank, gone off to take a shower, come back, and had fry. Dang Livebearers always outsmart me...
