Drilled 2 x 35mm holes in my to be refugium tank today. I was worried for no real reason. It was so much easier than I thought it would be. I made a wooden template first of all & clamped it to the tank with wood on the other side of the glass. Pleanty of water & it took around 5mins per hole. It starts making a hole straight away which is what I was first worried about. All in all very similar to drilling a hole in plastic with regular holesaw.
