Hi, my 150 NW cichlid tank is semi agressive and today I got some of my internet ordered fish and they sent me firemouths by accident. I don't have any other tanks to put them in, but I am worried that they'll get beat up in my NW tank. The two firemouths are about 4 1/2 inches and they are sticking together. If I added more firemouths would they fair better or worse?
Also in the tank are green texas, acaras, severums, and convicts.
It's 150gal and it's planted and has extensive rock caves.
Thanks for any suggestions.

They get about 6 inches long and IME are pretty tough. I kept mine with jewel cichlids (nasty little things) and they were fine until the jewels started breeding. :rip: They flare their gills to make themselves look big, and sometimes it works to scare other fish away. At 4 inches you should be ok. Good luck
If you add more they may breed and beat up the other fish :D
