Firemouth Tank Mates

This is just a pipe dream right now but i want a tank arond 100 gallons and a fire mouth in it. What would make good tank mates for it? I would also be putting a sengal bichir in the tank

The answer is simple....other firemothes, my experience with these is that these do not get along well with others!!

They also don't get along well with each other. You could try a Jack Dempsey.

what about a blue Acara are there any good tank mates for that?

Jack dempsey is a beautiful fish....mine dont mess with any of my tankmates...I have 3 senegal birchirs, needlenose gar, angelfish, pleco, 2 jack dempseys and a electric blue cichlid in 75 gallon tank
