Ok, so I have two firebellies in a 10 gallon 1/2 water 1/2 ground setup, with a full lighted hood. There's no gaps anywhere. The only way to put something in our to take something out is to either take the hood off or lift up the little panel on the hood.

Well, this morning when I woke up, one of my firebellies, Cado, was sitting on my chest looking at me. What I'm wondering is.... how? He had to do it sometime when I was asleep.... I know he can't take the hood off, and I didn't think that he could lift the hatch.... guess I was wrong?

Otherwise, I'm just glad I found him before my cats did.

 You're very lucky to have found him so easily  I would suggest looking over the tank for any holes or gaps  Could you have keft the cage open a bit?

Well before I went to bed, I rolled over to switch off the light in there and I saw him lounging about it the water bein all cute. I inspected the tank, and the widest hole in the tank is a little slit that the filter electrical wire fits through. I've narrowed it down to two possible solutions.

A.) Cado has super-frog strength and jumped straight up, lifting the hatch and landing on my bed or

B.) My firebelly is magic, possibly being able to telepathically transport himself out of the terrarium (in which case I should start reading those Harry Potter books I hear this buzz about...) which I think would look something like this.
