Fish Crazy
(I put this in the wrong forum section just now! )
Anyway, some of you may remember waaaaay back in 2004, I rescued 2 very ill firebellied toads from a nasty fate at an equally nasty pet shop, followed by another one shortly thereafter. These toads were called Splodge, Slurp and later on Slimer. Unfortunately, Slurp and Slimer didn't make it, and the sole survivor, Splodge, began to crawl down the long road back to health. (full thread - http/www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=38468 )
Well, I'm pleased to say, 3 years on - he's still here! And here he is!
After a stint in an aqua-terrarium I set up, I moved him into his own purpose-made vivarium (Exo Terra, great vivariums!), complete with front access and vented lid. Perfect for stopping excess humidity! (it's deeper than it looks, trick of the light!)
And, just last week, I finally got him a new tankmate - meet Camo, so called because his somewhat unusual blotched brown and green topside makes him look like he's decked out in army camouflage!
Say hello to everyone, Camo!
Camo likes to climb around on stuff...
....whilst Splodge likes to relax by the poolside!
Splodge wonders what that strange creature is doing with his phone...
Camo doesn't know either...
Best of friends....
