I have a fire mouth, not sure what sex, less than a year old, the thing is so damn picky,,he wont eat chichlid pellets, he wont eat hikari tropical flakes, he wont eat tubi worms or brine shrimp, or gumaris, or turtle delight shrip,, the only thing he will eat is wardley tropical flakes, but he only eats a tiny bit and only what floats in front of his face down at the bottom of his tank,,he almost never comes out of his hidding place, for the last few days I ve been putting feeder guppies in there, he is not eating those either, he has always been like this and I would like to know what he will enjoy eating, he is alone in the tank and the water is of good quality, the temp is mid 70s,


can anyone suggest something he will like to eat

mine was starting to get that way after his mate died and he was alone in the 55 gall well he had the plecs. but anyway he came out of his shell when I got the new tankmates in there.
what size tank is he in??
has he had tank mates before?
how big is he?
could he just be old??
and do you keep his lite on? or just part of the day. none of the day?
