After going through about a month of looking for a metallic pressurized container (you know, those metallic ones that look like SCUBA tanks) and not finding any that suit the size I need, I stumbled upon a fire extinguisher. Is there a possibility of taking the top off the extinguisher and replace it with my current CO2 valve? -_- Has anyone done this before? If this is not possible, do you have any suggestions on where I can get some sort of container to suit my needs? It must be about 40-50 cm. tall and about 10-15 cm. thick...

Any response is welcomed,
Snick. :)

Yes it is possible but not something I'd try at home. I've seen it done some time ago now but can't remember where I saw it. Is there any reason why you want to change it though? If you just remove the horn on the extinguisher then a standard CO2 regulator will fit fine. This is what I have done along with many others.
