Fire Eel

Hi dnt know if im in the right part but my brother has an fire eel and its at the bak of the filter flopped over the part that holds the filter i just fed them blood worm (for the frogs realy) he went after them and ate like normal but could this be normal he looks pretty lifeless like that but he will swim after frozen blood worm

Also waters fine

Nitrate <10ppm
Nitrites n ammonia 0

That aside, sounds pretty much normal to me, the eels do normally just 'hang out' and baby eels just love bloodworm!

Im really worried that you said there were frogs in the tank... does your brother realise how huge these fish get? And by the time its the size of a biro they can eat the dwarf congo frogs, let alone when they are hitting 3ft or thereabouts....

hi yeh the pet shop sold it to us not telling us how big they get hes going to stsy with us for now but unless my brother gets his own large tank it will go as soon as it gets to a foot also the frogs are mine they are all in my tank but thanks for the help
