How long does it take a 6 inch fire eel to get to atleast 18. Inches???
He seems to kind of grow a lil fast?? What's the growth rate per week or month?
And is there any power good ti make them grow a little faster?

I've asked this of you a few times and never got an answer, what size tank is it ?

Also whats the water change rutine and what are you currently feeding?

He'll need a bigger tank to reach his full potential, do more frequent water changes and it'll speed u[ his growth a fair bit, what are you feeding it?

In my experience, just mine ... my fire eels have never grown much longer than approx 6 to 8 inches but having said that i only managed to keep one for about 3 years, before it escaped. It was in an old iron 4ft tank with ill fitting alluminium lid, hense his succesfull escape, noobs lesson learned.
The one i have now is about 5 inches in a modern 200ltre tank i've had him a year now and tbh he hasn't realy grown that much but he doesn't feed every day. When he is hungry he swims verticaly up and down the tank until i feed him atm his main diet is frozen bloodworm he can munch 2 or 3 blocks one after the other, the rest of the fish eat the left overs.
You can see a pic of him on this forum under Member's Aquarium and Fish Pictures.

i've had a tire track eel that was about 16inch, seen some fairly big fire eels too, should be a decent size within the year

Frozen bloodworm is not really very nutrisious, try some meal worms or even better earth worms

Meal worms should be fine, worms are best breeding your own but its easily done, i always have a supply of worms.
