fire eel feeding

I've had my fire eel for about 18 months and he's about 14 inches long. He only takes bloodworm and spirulina enriched brine shrimp. what else can I feed him cos I'm concerned its not enough even though he;s a well rounded well fed fish. he won't touch the lance fish that go in for the birchir

I want to make sure he grows as big as he can

we used to have a fire eel until we had to sell alot of our tanks due to moving into an apartment anyway she was about 20 inches long and wide as your arm, she loved eating ghost shrimp, she used to hunt for them along the bottom of the tank and look for them in the plants, try them i'm sure your eel will love them
