The other day I saw a Chinese Fire Belly Newt for only $3. I do not think it has really eaten yet. what should I offer it, frozen brine shrimp or live food. I can't get frozen bloodworms for a week. I am going to try and grow some mosquito larvae. Do Fire Bellies eat in the water or out of the water? Also, other than good water quality, how can I best prevent fungal infections. Can Melafix be used with amphibians? Any help would be much appreciated as amphibians are not my forte.
