I have two fire bellied toads in a 10g tank. They've been living happily for about three weeks now. They have a 50/50 tank, with a few snails (how'd they get in there?), a few guppy fry, and floating plants. You know, the whole nine yards.

But, I have a problem. One of the frogs just won't eat. There are plenty of crickets for them, but he just won't eat. The crickets can crawl all over him, swim past him (when they fall in the water...tend to do that a bit..) and he just ignores them. Today, a cricket sat right on top of his head and he just blinked and pushed it off.

Is there something else he might possibly eat that we can try? I think he might have eaten a guppy a few days ago (but I'm not sure. it could have been our other frog.)

Thanks for any help.

hmmm not a good sign..........illness sometimes causes the act of not eating but it might be the food.....but about the food cant help you there

I don't know the air temp of the tank, but the water temp is 74-75F.

He's the bigger of the two frogs, and the crickets are pretty small (they seem like perfect size). We've actually tried bigger and smaller crickets, and right now we're using smaller ones because that's what we got. I don't think size of the cricket is a problem. Though, I wish it was so we could fix it.

I'm not much worried about temp either, since the other frog is just fine, happily floating among their plants.
