Finger Leather

I was given this huge finger leather to rehabilitate about a month ago, and when I got it, it really wasn't doing so well- It didn't even have any polyps. Proud to say that it's looking much better nowadays, and is starting to grow back many of its previously lost polyps.

A question, however. Do all finger leathers have "flower looking" polyps coming from the rod shapes?

Or do some have only have the rod shapes?
Mine only has the rod shapes protruding from it (that's what grew back), and so I'm wondering if I should be expecting these "flower looking" polyps soon.

No, some only have the rod polpys and others have the flower type polpys, all according to type so yours is fine
