We took our little girl to see Disney on Ice this past Sunday. We've seen the show several times but this one was Nemo and it was the best ever. They re-enacted the entire movie and it was great
I took two million pics but since the lighting was so horrible and the skaters were so fast, hardly any came out. But I'll share what I did get
The first one is horrible but if you look to the left you'll see a school of fish and that was amazing and by far my favorite fishy costume. This was an intro to the reef and everything was blacklight sensitive.

Thanks for looking :D

It was amazing  I wish I had a better shot of Crush, both my pics show his eyes closed but they blinked and his mouth moved like the real deal. Tuesday was really impressed with that

I'm still impressed by the costuming!

Call me crazy, but were Nemo and Marlin played by girls? Their legs look far to shapely to be guys!

I love the second one with Crush, just because of the baby turtle in the corner.. those eyes are awesome!

It's hard to say about Marlin, he/she wasn't into looking at the crowd. But Nemo was definitely female . Clowns can change sex anyway, right? :p

I love the costumes too. My daughter is having a hard time finding a sport she's into and I casually leaned over and mentioned how awesome ice skating would be and that maybe someday she could be in a show like this
It was all fabulous. They obviously put a lot of work into the show.

Definitely convince her to do skating.. a ton of my friends did it in high school and they absolutely loved it!

Dammit, now I want to go see this.. as if I'm not obsessed enough with fish and Finding Nemo, musicals/theatre, and ice shows... but now put them all together and you get a theatrical ice show production of Finding Nemo! Ahhhh!

Must.. see.. Nemo on Ice...

I'll try my best  We have several skating rinks (?) arenas (?) right here in town. Right now she's gung ho on joining swim team at the Y,and also doing T-Ball again this year. Plus she wants to start Karate again

I don't have pics of all the characters,I wish I did. They didn't leave out anybody. The funniest was Deb,from the tank, and her reflection/sister Flo. They used two skaters and it was just too cute. Not to mention the puffer, who actually puffed :hyper:

That looks very cool!

I was going to suggest taking Tuesday to a Star's game, but then I remembered the season was canceled. Hopefully, they will play next season, but it doesn't look good. :/

Aww,that would have been fun!! For me anyway, maybe not so much Tooz  She's been taking soccer practice and last Saturday was the first game. She came over crying at half time and wanted to sit out. I think the commotion was too much for her. All the kids running in a crowd and such  She looked really good out there though  I wish she'd stick with it but she says it's not the sport for her
I think she would excel in tennis. We've been playing in the backyard every evening for the past two weeks. She's really, really good. I just want her to find a passion for something, but I don't want to shove too much on her plate. Parenting  Do ya push them? Do ya let them take it as it comes? What to do  Good thing I'm not pushy (where she's concerned anyway.)

GTP~ that's too cute :) Happy Birthday by the way ;)

Nice pictures Wuv. Been a long time since I've been to an ice show like that.

I have to say, I didn't notice the section this was posted in, and looking at the title, I thought this was going to be a post about a dead fish or something (on ice....). I think I need to go home now

I took my little one to see Beauty and the Beast on Ice. It was amazing! The set and the costumes were incredible. I love to see the kids get so wrapped up in the whole thing......now my daughter keeps asking to go ice skating!

Great pics too!
