hey o-zel
welcome to the forum!

I don't know if you know about Big Al's, but I was in the store on Kennedy a week ago or so and they had a bunch of crown tails - asking premium prices for them too! :dunno: they're in the phone book.
they regularly have vts but this is the first time I noticed them separating out the crowntails and selling them for more $$.
as for price? don't really remember, sorry, but I'm thinking the reg vts are about $3.9~ and the cts are in the 5-6- $7 range

if you prefer to go to a breeder, go to http://trillium.christopherlee.ca
he's local and might have some for you.
hope that helps!

cool thnx purple_drazi
O big al... ya last time i went, they only got 2 on the shelf and they were both VT... well i don't usually go to big AL cuz they r pricey... hmmmm now i know they carry CT then i should check there often... lol *note to self *first thing after my exam visit big AL:D arrr can't wait to get my hands on 1

The Petsmart in St. Catharines carrys crowns, but they're veiltail crowntails. ..And they're $10.
Your best bet is a local breeder. Place an ad in the classifieds of the star looking for crowntail bettas. It'll cost a couple bucks, but you might find a local breeder who doesn't advertise usually.. there's one in my area according to my LFS but I can't find him..
