I am finally getting that 33 gallon (long) I have wanted! I finally talked my parents into it! I dont have much of a choice in fish, since I have to move all of my 10 gallon fishies to this one. I am going to keep the 10 for a med tank. I am moving over: 1 Red-Tail Black Shark, 1 Blue Gourami, 1 Chinese Algae Eater, 3 Pristella tetras, and 3 Tiger barbs. I know some of you will say - the tigers will tear up the gouramis feelers, but he holds his own already. Could any of you suggest some fishies I could stick in this community? I know its my choice, I just want your opinions! :D :D :D

more tiger barbs. THey will leave the others to themselves if their is more of them to keep them interested.

i really want tiger barbs but they r too agressive, for my community tank, un like ur semi-agressive tank!

The Tigers already keep to their own. I just want to know what else I can add!

Gourami's are cool. Their little feeler-proby things are soooo cute. When you add new fish to the tank they stick their feelers out and touch the new guys as if saying, "Ummm.....this is as close as you can get to me, got it!!" Also, sometimes they will bicker with other gouramis and they will be sort of sword fighting each other with their feelers. They are really cute!!!

For some reason, my gourami must make a name of himself every time I add someone new. No matter what kind of fish it is, he will bicker it until it runs away every time it sees him. He killed the female blue gourami I had, and hated the blue paradise gourami I had, and chased after the tigers after I put them in there. I guess he only likes his life-long tank mates the red-tail, the algae eater, and the pristella tetras. He THINKS he is the master of the tank, but when the red-tail grows up, he will think otherwise! HAH! :D
