i finally got the first shipment of stuff I ordered for my tank today. WOOHOO :hey: All i really need now is my R/O system I won off e-bay last night and salt and LR

Just a quick question, i'm trying to layout all the heater, filter, skimmer, powerhead equipment and was wondering how far down i need to put the powerheads. My tank is roughly 24" deep. Thanks :dunno: . I just want to make sure the LR gets enough circulation

This is really trial and error im afraid :/
I would place 2 powerheads, one in each backcorner about 4 inches down from the surface and point then to the front center glass.
This will create a turbulance that should give great movment around the tank. If you have any spare PH then place them at different angles to give a direct flow into an area you feel is not as well circulated.

1 Word of caution though, do not point a PH directly at coals, they love high flow but placing them direclty in the path of a PH will stress and eventually killl them

Thanks for the insite, hopefully my R/O system gets here soon, i'm finally ready to start cycling almost :X
