Well, after a month or two of trying to find a whiteworm seller, I found someone a few hours away. They sent them yesterday, and I received them today. Nice and healthy as the weather was perfect for mailing them to me! I'll be building a wooden culturing box this weekend so hope to have the culture reproducing quickly within the next week or so (if it's possible to have them multiply that early).

Now, I can finally try to condition some bettas properly to help me have them spawn. I hope my next attempt (either mango crowntail sibs, or a female black orchid to a cambo male with purple fins...both ct's also) will work out well!

Exciting! What pair do you think I should try first? I'm thinking the black orchid (i think thats what the colour pattern is called) would throw off some fun babies!

Yeah, WUV gave me some culture to start my whiteworm farm. You couldve asked someone on the forum to give you a bag. Well anywho, I didnt even feed my betta them yet. I dont know how to seperate the worms from the dirt :/

Hi.

I actually just joined the forum very recently and had already paid for the whiteworms, otherwise I would have asked here next :)

I just get a plastic twist-tie and use the edge to scoop a worm or two out at a time. I just wanted to see how the bettas would like them. I'll let them reproduce without harvesting for awhile to get the numbers up so I can harvest more frequently :)
