The past couple of weeks I have been removing gambusia and shiners from my pond because I dident know that they were a nuisance at first. I just fed them and scooped up pretty much every fish in the pond and there were not gambusia in my net. I took out some shiners that I had in the net but this means that the babys in the pond are definitely molly fry. There are alot and they are eating and growing. I looked into the net and the sailfin mollies were orange which shocked me because they were blue when I caught them. They look amazing but sadly I couldent get any pictures because I dident want to keep them out of water too long. You can even see the shine of the males tail in the water. I like most of all that I dont have to worry about temperature problems in the winter because they are wild and have adapted.
