Hi All, Just upgraded my Substrate to Argos Play Sand for my Corys. Was really easy to do even with my fishes in the tank
The Corys have been going wild in it for the last few hours, Was like a whirlwind sandstorm for a while as they were digging.
Think I've made them happy & a big improvement on the Artificial grass substrate (Not my idea)

Still a few bits I need to do, But think I've stressed them enough today.
I want to change fake plants & few other things.
I am open for constructive criticism

It’s all good - sand / gravel is the way to go. Just a bit of work when you do your water changes to give it a quick vacuum to get any uneaten food off.

I've always had gravel if I am honest, I have also kept Corys too.
So just thought I would give the sand a go this time round, Admittedly the Corys were fine with the fake grass, It was very soft with no sharp edges, They have no barbel damage so I kept it until I had some time to do the sand, After a few hours of sand being in & them digging it looked liked I had just thrown the sand in without care

I changed my 55 gallon tetra tank over from gravel to sand and was happy with it. I also noticed my cory seem happier -at least they like to dig more.
