Fin rot

one of my male bettas has blackish blueish color around the outside of his fins. at first i thought it was just part of his color...that it was natural...but then i was reading up on fish diseases and found fin rot and it resembles my betta's fins. i have some fungus eliminator (jungle brand) i thought i would get some advice before i do anything...please hurry though..thanks

use Maracyn and Maracyn II or Kanycyn for the fin rot. 10 full days with water changes every 5 days. Rose
