need a bit of advice please....I have treated my tank for finrot and mouth fungus. Initially only the kissing gourami had finrot and the red jewels had the mouth fungus. The mouth fungus side has cleared up but 3 days into the treatment I had to do a 25% water change to sort out an algi problem which was affecting the oxygen levels, so I guess I upset the medicine balance. The fish are looking healthy enough but the finrot is getting worse and spreading slowly, do I need to retreat or is it slow to clear up?...do I still wait for the full seven days to re treat or do I top the medecine up due to the water change??
The medicine is Interpet 8 anti fungus and finrot.

If you only medicated for 3 days and then changed the water, you have to start over, I think.

I would see what is stressing your fish out to cause this outbreak. What are your water parameters? What has changed in the tank recently? Any new fish or decor?

I didn't have much luck with that treatment either - to be honest I though the water changes and the melfix seemed to do more for my tank...however if you do want to re-treat I would do another large water change and then dose as though starting from fresh.

aj xx
