i have 1 molly, 3 tetras, and 1 cory in a 10 gal tank
today i noticed that 2 of my 3 tetras are suffering fin rot. I put in a Fungus Clear and removed the carbon filter. then i fed them some protein rich freeze dried worms
what are the fishes' chances of survival? there's no cotton growth showing but i'm worried as to why the flesh is suddenly dissapearing.
i also notice small amounts of dark colored "dust" collecting around my plastic plant. are those fungal spores? i washed it off with some water and put it back in just in case.
how long does it take for a fish to recover from fin rot? is the damage permanent?
