fin rot

Need to no tank size in gallons, how many fish are in there, water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph, can you describe the finrot.

Often caused by stress/poor water conditions (like everything else). In the past I've found that adding an additional dose of my dechlorinator works nicely as it "coats, protects and promotes healing" or at least that's what it claims and it has a doseage for injured fish!

It could be fin damage cause by nipping of course and not fin rot at all.

Trying to find the cause of the finrot that why you have to answer the question that have been asked, as you can get bacterial finrot as well.

Sorry for your loss, but if you answered the questions we might of been able to help.R.I.P.
