Hello, around 3 weeks ago I added some eSHa 2000 to my 230l tank as one of my platys looked to have fin rot. I asked on this forum and they agreed with me. 3 weeks later there is no difference although it also doesn't seem to be any worse. One of my rainbowfish now looks to have a similar problem. Does anybody have any idea what else this could be? I tested the water and it all looked fine.

Pictures and a link to the previous thread?

What are the ingredients in the esha 2000?

Have you tried salt?
If yes, what dose rate did you use?

Here is a new picture

Actually looking at these 2 pictures it does look to be getting a bit better. I looked at the rainbowfish as well and it looks to be getting better.

I was going to say the new picture shows the fish with a normal dorsal fin (no damage) so that has definitely improved. I can't see the end of the tail but if the dorsal fin is better, the tail should also be better.

Keep the treatment going for another week and then do daily water changes for a week to remove the chemicals.
