I’ve noticed my betta has fin rot so went to my local fish shop , they gave me protozin and said to treat day 1,2,3 and 6. I’ve also been feeding frozen food as he is looking very skinny.

What should I do after this?

Protozin is a whitespot medication, not a treatment for finrot. Myxazin is the fin rot treatment made by the same company.

Which frozen food have you been feeding? Not all of it is nutritional. Bloodworm for example should only be fed once a week as a treat. A good quality betta food would help, one that does not have wheat flour or similar listed in the first three ingredients.

They said it treats a variety of illnesses.
I have been feeding bloodworm, daphnia and brine shrimp. I use the betta live science granules normally.

Waterlife's website says about Protozin
For effective control of protozoan parasites e.g. whitespot, velvet, costiasis and trichodiniasis.
• Also treats fungus.
Finrot is usually bacterial so Protozin won't treat that.

Their webiste says about Myxazin
Broad spectrum bactericide.
Lowers the count of harmful bacteria.
• Treats Fin Rot, Body Rot, Ulcers, Sores, Pop Eye, Cloudy Eye, Mouth Fungus and other bacterial diseases.

Ι dont believe your boy has fin rot. I think he's most likely suffering from a curved spine....which means that there's no reason to traet him, ESPECIALLY with Protozin...!

He doesn't appear to have fin rot. If he does though, really clean water is the best cure in my experience. It may be the way he is swimming but does he have some kind of spinal deformity? As for being skinny, get him on some live food and a good brand of betta pellet such as fluvle, northfin, or omega 1.
