Fin Problems?

I've had Skylar ( my Blue betta) for about 2 months now and i noticed about 3 weeks ago that the tips of his fins are getting red. At first I thought he was tearing them on the plastic plants so I removed them and put in a silk one (adding more soon). 2 weeks later,.... the tips are still red and curling (less than before but still worries me)... Any idea what it could be and how to treat it,..... i'll get pictures of it later. other than the fin thing.... he's doing awesome .... he even ate my Ghost shrimp in there.... they were supposed to be a clean up crew.... but he decided they were dinner.

Hey,
I'm not an expert on bettas but i'm slowly learning.
I'm guessing that your betta is only a young one, So his tail type is probably not fully developed yet. I had VT with curled fins possible having a CT and VT as parents making the curl.
As i say i'm not an expert!.
