Fin-nippers?

If I get a betta to put in my 10gal tank with six neon tetras, will they nip his fins?

Its not a silly question. Neons are not fin nippers so it should be alright.

I, personally, would never put a male betta in with anything.

i just responded to a similar question about bettas & tetras. i've had mine with cardinals, rummy-noses & glow lights and both the bettas & tetras have gotten along swimmingly!
