I currently have my 2ft 6 gallon filtered with a fluval 1plus. It says its suitable for 12 gallons which should be great right? But it does state for like 1ft tanks really. I could run a rena filstar filter which will do the same... so i could run two filters, but i would like to save plug sockets!

My other alternative is trying to fit a fluval 2plus filter in there, i would imagine it would be really good for over filtration but i feel its to big as the tanks only 8" x 8" and then you have to take into consideration the substrate.

After all that blagging, do you think that my fluval 1 plus will be able to cope with the bioload from dwarf puffer?

Cheers.
