I have a 13gallon tank for fry out of the pond and it's running with a under gravel wich i'm very happy with, waters crystal clear most the time.
but it's not exactly the quietest of things and being only a few metres away from my bed and not really any where else to put the criters i was thinking about a filter change without much cost.
